Boneless Chicken Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:
For Chicken Marinade:
- 500g boneless chicken
- (cut into medium pieces or what ever u want )
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt to taste
For Biryani Rice:
- 2 cups basmati rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
- 4 cups water
- 1 bay leaf
- 2-3 cloves
- 2 green cardamoms
- 1-inch cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon salt
For Cooking & Layering:
- 300g tomatoes
- 8 green chilies
- ( tomatoes and chilies blend in grander)
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ¼ cup fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves (chopped)
- readymade biryani masala
- mint , boiled eggs (for garnish)
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl mix chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic
red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala,
black pepper, lemon juice and salt.
Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

Prepare the Rice
- In a pot boil rice with bay leaf, cloves, cardamom,
- cinnamon and salt.
- Add soaked rice and cook until 70% done . Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken Gravy
Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add
Sauté until golden brown and then add blended

Layering the Biryani
- In a heavy bottom pot, spread half of the cooked rice.
- Add the chicken gravy, then sprinkle coriander,

- Cover the pot with a tight lid and cook on low heat
- (Dum) for 15-20 minutes.
