Method!!!!!
To prepare this dish, first wash and peel 3 medium potatoes
and cut them into equal cubes. Cut 2 cups of cauliflower into
medium-sized florets and keep 1 cup of green peas.
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large pan on medium
heat. Add 1 finely chopped large onion and fry until it
turns golden brown. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
Add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste and sauté for about one
minute until the raw smell disappears.
Now add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they
become soft and mushy. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder,
1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder
and salt according to taste. Mix well and cook the masala
until the oil starts separating from the sides.
Add cauliflower first and cook for 3 to 4 minutes so they
absorb the spices.
Mix everything gently so the vegetables are well coated
with the masala.
Add some dropsof water, cover the pan, and let it
cook on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook until the
potatoes and cauliflower are tender but not overcooked.
Finally, sprinkle ½ teaspoon garam masala and mix lightly.
