Stuffed Green Chili?
There are many reasons why this recipe is so popular:
It is crispy from the outside and soft from the inside.
It has a balanced spicy and tangy flavor.
It is budget-friendly and easy to make.
It uses simple ingredients available in every kitchen.
It can be served as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.
Even people who are not big fans of green chilies often
enjoy this recipe because the potato filling reduces the
sharp heat of the chili and adds delicious flavor.
Taste and Texture
The taste of potato stuffed green chili is a perfect
combination of spicy, savory, and slightly tangy flavors.
The green chilies give a mild heat, while the mashed
potato filling adds comfort and richness. Spices like
red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin, and chaat
masala enhance the flavor.
The outer gram flour (besan) coating becomes crispy
after frying, giving a crunchy bite. Inside, the potatoes
stay soft and flavorful. When served with mint chutney
or tamarind sauce, the taste becomes even more exciting.
